Tree Fabric Installation and Habitat Development Services
With 5 years of Habitat development
experience, we have experienced crews available to custom design your next
wildlife project. We have a complete knowledge of all of the available wildlife
easements and conservation
programs offered through the
USDA and other agencies including Continuous
CRP, WRP and other easements
offered by other Federal and private agenecies. We specialize in Tree Fabric
installation and Native Grass seedings.
Under continuous CRP - the USDA under local control of the NRCS in your county, pays for 90% of the cost of tree belt establishment including tree & planting costs, fabric cost and installation. We can "pick up" the 10% cost share on fabric installation, so as a producer, you only pay for 10% of the cost of trees and their installation - the fabric is "Free". We have crews available to install fabric starting in mid April. These crews will follow behind the tree crew and install Lumite fabric over your newly seeded trees.
We use state of the
art Trees Are Us™ - Mulch Fabric Machines® that allow for the
no-till installation of Lumite® (conservation district approved) tree
fabric over your trees/shrubs right into existing sod or disked ground.
We
negotiate the always tiresome and confusing FSA (Farm Service Agency) &
NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service) contract process for you. We can
help you negotiate through the government red tape and achieve the results that
YOU want through programs that they will pay for.
Our knowledge of chemical
applications for specific grasses/flowers is of utmost importance when it comes
to establishing a complete grass stand in the quickest time possible. We use
only Truax™ no-till grass drills and work with the producer from start to
finish in site prep work, chemical application, grass seeding, mowing/clipping
and post chemical treatment and maintenance planning. We have seeded thousands
of acres in the last 5 years and understand what works best -with your goals in mind.
